High tech cable assemblies from FCI
The world of “electronics” is changing rapidly. Where years ago equipment life-cycles would run up to 7-8 years, nowadays we see lifecycles of just over a year.

New technologies, miniaturization, increased speed and density and changed power requirements are just a few of the main market drivers. This has not only an impact on the design and application of connectors but also on the associated Cable assemblies. FCI has developed the capability to serve its customers not only with connectors but alsowith Cable Assemblies where the focus is on:

1)High Speed applications (Infiniband, DensiShield, AirMax VS andFlexible Circuit Assemblies)
2)2mm Grid (Metral and Millipacs)
3)Power Cable Assembly Solution (D-SUB, Sofix, PowerBlade,TwinBlade and HCI)

Omron’s New Bi-directional Flow Sensor Offers Reliable Output Performance
Omron Electronic Components Business Europe (OCB-EU) offers a new addition to its range of air and gas flow sensors designed for medical, analytical and HVAC/VAV (Variable Air Volume) equipment. The new MEMS-based D6F-P air flow sensor delivers uni- or bi-directional sensing with amplified output in a highly compact package.
The D6F-P is an ideal solution for flow rate monitoring and dumper control in HVAC/VAV applications. It also acts as a replacement for differential pressure sensors in HVAC systems as well as medical equipment such as respirators, ventilators, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and sleep apnea monitors. The highly compact flow sensor measures just 7 x 35 x 17.2 mm
(L x W x H) offering increased flexibility of the system design.
