Murata's full range of thermistors

Murata’s full range of thermistors

The Murata range of thermistors grows and changes to meet your needs.

Todays’ applications with all their electronic and automated functions demand increasing levels of protection.

MurataThere are plenty of options. From miniature chips to radial leaded. Positors® for heater controls, self re-setting over-current protection and over-temperature conditions. Check Murata’s PRF 15, PRF 18 and PRG18, PRG21 series.
NTCs suppress startup inrush currents, replace motor start resistors, degauss, provide excellent temperature compensation and make good temperature sensors. Selection is now easier. Murata offers free design facilities for many products. These don’t insult your intelligence, but they do cut the work you have to do to optimise your design.

3M’s popular 68 Position IDC-style MDR Wire-mount Plug Now Available for 26 AWG Wire

3M3M’s popular IDC-style, 68-position MDR Wiremount Plug Connector is now available in a version configured to terminate to 26 AWG wire from the 3M Electronic Solutions Division.
This expands the population of cables that can be terminated to 3M MDR IDC-Style wire-mount plugs from current specified sizes of 28 AWG and 30 AWG and enables use in longer haul applications than current IDC versions.
The 3M Wiremount MDR IDC Plug Connector for 26 AWG Wire mates with all  68-position 3M MDR receptacles and is compatible with existing 3M MDR IDC wire-mount back shells and hardware.
The connector is suitable for use with a wide variety of cable options, including round, flat, twisted pair and twinax.  The 3M MDR connector system uses a wiper-on-wiper interface for reliable, repetitive plugging.

Phoenix Contact - COMBICON compact: Spring-cage double connection for building installation

Phoenix ContactThe new series with PCB terminal blocks and connectors with the PTDA spring-cage double connection from Phoenix Contact now provides two connections per electric potential, which simplifies the looping through of conductors.

The terminal points are arranged at an angle of 45° to the PCB.The round and symmetrical PCB terminal blocks are available as a pluggable or fixed, solderable version with a 3.5 mm and 5.0 mm pitch. The disk design and uniform shape allow for individual blocks in mixed pitches, which can also be color-coded.

This makes it easier for the user to safely install the devices to be connected without errors. With their connection capacities of 2 x 2.5 mm² / 2 x 1.5 mm² (solid / stranded), the PCB terminal block is fitted to the usual conductor cross-sections in building installation and thus provides a large terminal capacity with direct plug-in technology. With the convenient release button, the conductors can be quickly released again, if needed. Thanks to the symmetric design, the PCBs can be accommodated in the housing horizontally or vertically.

AVX NEW SINGLE-LAYER CERAMIC CAPACITORS EXHIBIT RECORD HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT WITH X7R CHARACTERISTICS

AVX has expanded the AVX family of proprietary high k, intergranular barrier layer dielectric systems. Similar to AVX’s Maxi and Maxi+ product offerings, the new single-layer ceramic capacitor series, designated Ultra Maxi, features X7R characteristics and a dielectric constant of 60,000 – double the previous industry high for Grain Boundary Barrier Layer (GBBL) formulations.
Available in voltage ratings of 6.3, 16 and 25 VDC, the new Ultra Maxi Series sets a new standard for circuit miniaturization.
On average, the required board mounting area will be reduced by approximately two-thirds when compared to an equivalent capacitance value in our Maxi+ series. The Ultra Maxi Series offers an ideal solution for broadband bypass, and optical networking applications where high performance and the smallest footprint are the primary considerations.
