Vishay released four new low-profile, high-current inductors, which feature high maximum frequencies and low inductance values.
The IHLP-1616AB-11 and IHLP-1616BZ-11 inductors offer a maximum frequency of 1.0 MHz, while the IHLP-1616AB-01 and IHLP-1616BZ-01 feature a maximum frequency of 5.0 MHz. The inductance range for this new series is from 0.047 µH to 4.7 µH. Offering the lowest DCR/µH for their respective package sizes, the new IHLP inductors serve as high-performing, space- and power-saving solutions for voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc applications such as point-of-load converters, distributed power systems, and voltage regulation for FPGAs.

Samtec - High Density Interconnect Arrays Available
 Samtec SEARAY™ high density interconnects ( SEAM / SEAF Series) provide a solid grid of contacts on .050” (1,27mm) pitch and up to 500 I/Os. These connectors are the same footprint as the popular SamArray® Series connector, but with added features and stack heights.
Lower insertion/extraction forces make the connector much more user-friendly and a choice of solder-crimps on the tails provide a choice of traditional tin-lead alloy or RoHS compliant tin-only for lead-free processing. Stack heights of 7mm, 8.5mm, and 10mm are offered along with array sizes of
5, 6, 8 or 10 rows
by 20, 30, 40, or 50 pins per row.

Welwyn Launch New Small Size LRCS Series
TT electronics Welwyn Components has launched the LRCS series, a family of ultra small, low-value, current sense surface mount chip resistors.
The new series complements TT Welwyn's existing LR Series, offering the same thick-film on ceramic construction but providing increased choice for product designers in the form of three smaller sizes options of 0805, 0603 and 0402.
These smaller sizes save space on the circuit board, allowing the production of smaller and lighter products.
Designed for current sensing in power electronic systems, the fully RoHS compliant LRCS series is suitable for a range of applications including the monitoring of power usage and battery life; and provision of output protection for power supplies; as well as for a range of consumer and automotive products such as satellite navigation, hand-held PDAs and digital set-top boxes.
